Fallout new vegas question ?

So I'm trying to side with the Legion who idolise me but I also did a bit of mission for yes man know it says on there missions to stop working for yes man; how do I do that? I can't kill him and its says on the Legion missions to deal with Benny even though he's dead. What should I do? And how do I stop helping yes man?
