on there part you need to get your deposit back.i would go to leagle aid in your state it is lawyers that work for free for people with emergency situations like yours.i would sue your landlord the pants off of him he should be paaaaaaaying your moving exspenses i have never heard of something like that in my life you should of never vacated the apartment.as long as you were paying your rent there was no way he could of through you out.no matter what.call a lawyer in your area alot of them give free advice over the phone.get him for pain and suffering.putting you through all this.
