Does anyone know how to tune a mexican vihuela?
An octive is the exact tone, with different pitch. For example, you say you play with guitar tuning. The lowest string is an E, while the highest string is also an E, just higher. Another example, on piano it is asked how many octives a particular piano has, how many C-A's, or bascicaly how many C notes are there. They just have different pitch. I dont know much about vihuelas, but I've tried playing and the s are way different. Standard tuning is A, D, G, B, and E, the A, D, and G that are an octive up are just simply the same note as the guiar version, except higher
