If I graduate college with a bachelors in math am I a mathematician?

I'll equate this with science. Generally, we consider someone working in the field and doing original work as a scientist - or in your case, mathematician. If you're doing that before you graduate, you're a mathematician. If you're not doing it even after you graduate, you're a person with a math degree.
