My friend was accused of harment, Do you think she was just misguided?

I find their response strange, too. However, maybe they mean "invasion of privacy" when they say "harment". That I can better understand. Should she feel bad, which is what I think is really the question here, NO. She did a very generous and thoughtful thing. Unfortunately they family is super sensitive :(
